真柏は、白く白骨化する幹の芯と、ねじれていく幹ですが特徴です。
枝などの木質部分がはがれ白骨化したものを盆栽界では「シャリ」と呼びますが、 盆栽の評価は重要視されております。 古木のような風情が漂い、まるで芸術作品の様な姿は大変魅力的で、盆栽界で人気が高いもの納得です。
